Time for an Update! Spring is around the corner...

Hey everyone!

It's been awhile since I last have written, but nothing too exciting has happened. I have been working like crazy, which has totally exhausted me. But every payday is worth it, as my hard work is paying off. It's been getting me noticed by more people at the Regional Office, which is the steps I need to take in order to keep moving up, and hopefully one day be a Store Accountant or RFA. I have really been counting my blessings with work. Stephen and I are so lucky to be able to put in a 40+ hour week and get paid and have great benefits. For a country where 700,000 jobs were lost in the last month, I really couldn't ask for much more!

Stephen is doing really well with work. He was just able to hire a couple more people, and hopefully they will continue to be doing great in that little produce department of theirs. We have also really been focusing on eating better and getting more exercise in. It's really helping with sleeping patterns and just having more energy to do things through out the day.

Spud is the best dog anyone could ever ask for. We got very lucky that we went to the shelter when we did, because he probably wouldn't have been there much longer. It's pretty apparent that he had a tough puppy life, but I think he is very happy with where he is now!

Still haven't heard anything about the house Stephen is trying to buy right now. We have seller approval and first round approval, but are still waiting on some signature or something from the bank. Hopefully it will hurry up, since the property had already been appraised at the same price he is offering for it, so it should just be a matter of renewing that approval amount and getting everything else done. It's stressful and frustrating, but it will be worth it in the end. I don't know many 23 year old's buying a house right now. And it will be nice to just have a place, that will be his.

Other than that things are business as usual. Working and taking care of the furbaby, trying to make the best of the economy and whatever situations present itself. It helps to be able to have a partner in crime through all of it, especially with the amount of love that we have for each other. I couldn't imagine someone else being any better for me than Stephen is. I'm very happy with our little family of three right now!
